ABOUT ME
I have been involved in acting since the 1980s and modeling since 2022. I have also been behind the camera as a line producer helping other creatives bring their dreams to light. I have been coaching actors, having worked at Stonestreet Studios, teaching students from the famed NY Tisch School of Acting the “Business of Show”. Entertainment is my life. As I hit my "Golden Years" as a Legit Actor I became fascinated by Commercial Acting. I figured why not try and embrace my AARP card. I became the darling of Wealth Management, Drug Companies and active senior ads. Along the way I made money, had some fun and learned a thing or two about the commercial acting world. Something I have been sharing in my Commercial Acting Workshops for the last decade. I have recently begun working with models, who have the opportunity to audition for commercials, but they don’t know the basics
Work Shop Info
This workshop we will address the basics of commercial auditioning, how to frame yourself for the camera, the slate, how to break down the copy, use your voice, your body and yes, what to do with your hands. Also, how to answer that sometimes asked prompt “So, tell us a little about yourself”.
The cost is $125.00 for 2 hours, with a maximum of 6 actors.
You will work one on one with me. There will be ample on camera practice utilizing commercial copy to allow you to become more familiar and comfortable with auditioning.
After the workshop you will have access to my assistance as you go on to “nail” those auditions coming your way.
Classes will be held, in person, at a Midtown Location.
